Design and sketching

Each of our pieces begin on paper with a hand drawn, highly intricate sketch. Once complete this sketch will be developed and refined in 3D.

Master and mold creation

With the 3D design complete we then move onto creating a silicone mold, into which liquid wax is poured. This will eventually be used to cast our jewelry. Once cooled, the wax mold will be thoroughly inspected for quality control. Once we’re happy that the mold meets our high standards we then proceed to the next step.

Casting

During the casting stage the wax will be attached to a sprue “tree”. The tree is then placed into a metal can called a flask. The final step will then involve the flask being placed into an oven, into which we then pour the melted silver to create the base for the jewelry.

Carving

Once the base is clean and cut, we then proceed to the most important part of the entire process – the Carving stage. Our jewelry is manually carved to ensure that every last detail is exactly as we want and expect. At this point we undertake a second quality control check to guarantee design conformity for every single piece of jewelry we create.

Polishing

Once the jewelry has successfully passed its second quality control check it will then be time for polishing the piece – resulting in a super shiny finish. Following this the jewelry will undergo a third quality control check to ensure the piece has been thoroughly polished.

Gem or pearl crimping

The penultimate stage for our jewelry involves a delicate process of crimping. Undertaken by a highly experienced specialist this stage works on the gemstones or pearls, and can take several hours to perfect.

Final quality control check

Once the jewelry is complete we proceed to the final and most important quality control check. This check will involve inspecting every detail to ensure a beautiful piece that will last forever. So detailed are our checks that we use a microscope to inspect the piece – for state of the art jewelry of the highest quality.
